Dear Hackers,

Thank you sincerely for your submission to the T$O GenAI Hackathon, organized by Jazzee and co-hosted by IIT Bhubaneswar. We deeply appreciate the time, thought, and energy you’ve invested so far.

After careful review by our panel, including senior industry experts and professors, we found that many of the current submissions — including yours — do not yet meet the level of originality and alignment with the innovation trends that this hackathon is aiming to showcase. In particular, several entries felt derivative or lacked the fresh perspective needed to push boundaries in the GenAI space.

As this event carries the name and reputation of IIT Bhubaneswar, we have a responsibility to ensure that the projects moving forward represent the highest levels of innovation and creativity. With that in mind, the judges have made the difficult decision not to move forward with any of the current entries to the onsite/live round at this stage.

We know this may be disappointing — but we also know the potential in you and your team is real. That's why we're inviting all teams to re-submit, either with a significantly improved version of your current project or with a brand-new idea that better reflects originality, impact, and relevance to today's GenAI challenges. For folks who are not very eloquent in presenting compelling presentations, a simple proof of concept will definitely go a long way in winning the hearts of the judges.

To support you further, we're also hosting an Open House tomorrow at 11:00 AM IST and 3 PM IST and 8 PM IST, where I'll personally walk through any feedback, answer any questions, and share tips on what the judges are looking for.
