General Guidelines

All team members must be registered participants of T$O 2025.
Teams must consist of 3-4 members.
All code must be written during the hackathon period.
Use of third-party libraries and APIs is allowed, but must be properly documented.
All projects must be original work. Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.

Code of Conduct

Treat all participants, mentors, and organizers with respect and courtesy.
Harassment or discriminatory behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
Maintain a collaborative and supportive environment.
Follow proper attribution practices when using external resources.
Respect the venue and equipment provided.

Technical Requirements

All code must be submitted to the designated repository by the deadline.
Include clear documentation and setup instructions in your repository.
Maintain a clean and well-organized codebase.
Follow industry-standard coding practices and conventions.
Ensure your solution addresses the problem statement effectively.

Presentation Guidelines

Each team will have 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.
All team members should participate in the presentation.
Include a live demo of your working solution.
Explain your technical approach and design decisions.
Be prepared to answer questions about your implementation.

Important Notes

Teams must be present for the entire duration of the hackathon.
Regular commits to your repository are expected to track progress.
Mentors will be available throughout the event for guidance.
Take regular breaks and maintain a healthy work environment.
Network and collaborate with other participants while respecting competition rules.

Intellectual Property

All code created during the hackathon remains your intellectual property.
Projects must be open-source and use appropriate licensing.
Properly credit any external resources or libraries used.
OdiGen 2025 reserves the right to showcase projects for promotional purposes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the eligibility to participate?

If you are a student, recent graduate or about to graduate, you are half way there. If you are a great programmer, has good grasp in generative AI, Machine learning, natural language processing and software engineering, you are an ideal candidate who has all the skillsets to win this competition.

Will it be an online event?

It's a hybrid event, 2 round will be online and final round to be done in person where participants will develop their product in person at the venue.

Will there be any accommodation?

Yes, only participants can stay in venue hostel during the event or they can stay at nearby hotels with their own expenses.

Will we be able to use ChatGPT or similar LLMs for help?

Yes, API key for generative AI will be given for any online assistance from large language models.

Will there be any instructors or competition assistance?

Yes, mentors will be assigned for offline and online drop in assistance with code or any development issues.

Can I apply for volunteer?

Yes, we are actively looking for volunteers to assist us with our event logistics. Please get in touch with the organizers.
